Mini Adventure Film Competition

This competition encourages young or first time film makers and is an important part of the Hope Valley Adventure Film Festival. Please have fun, be creative and adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Films should have an outdoor / adventure theme, maybe involving outdoor activities, nature, mountain culture or travel and must be no longer than 3 minutes.
  • Films could be made either outdoors or indoors, or even by using techniques of animation or modelling.
  • Films will be judged by an independent and expert judge who will assess the creativity of film-making, editing, story line, music and the overall feel. A prize will be awarded.
  • The will also be a People’s Choice Prize
  • All films will be screened at HVAFF where voting slips will enable visitors to vote in the ‘people’s choice’ award.
  • Only one film per person can be entered into the competition.
  • There are two age categories: ‘up to 16’, and ‘17 and over’.
  • Entries must be handed in to reception at Hope Valley College by Monday 9th April – use your Easter holidays productively. PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR NAME AND AGE CATEGORY WITH YOUR SUBMISSION
